I have always found reassurance in nature’s way of slowly but surely reclaiming the planet from humankinds’ relentless domination. A bird’s nest in a traffic signal…  vines climbing a telephone pole… even when the roots of a tree ruin a sidewalk or driveway from below…  Things like these give me faith that humanity’s hubris might not be fatal.

Godwood Studios is grounded in two core beliefs: first, that almost every piece of nature can be a beautiful work of art; and second: that just as nature can powerfully reclaim the man-made world, we can use man-made materials and techniques to honor and enhance the profound beauty of the natural world around us.
